Professor Tirinnanzi has notable accomplishments in the field of corporate finance, specifically in innovation and financial product development, financial risk management, hedging strategies using derivatives contracts such as swaps and futures, and financial instrument accounting under US GAAP. She was recognized by Futures Magazine on its list of "Top 25 Most Influential People" for her work with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to promote transparency and central clearing of derivatives contracts post Dodd Frank.
In 2014, in response to the growing interest in crypto currency, primarily Bitcoin, and Block Chain applications at the Futures Industry Association Expo,
she developed a one-day foundational course on cryptocurrencies and block chain for the Institute for Financial Markets. She has taught this course since 2015 in New York, Washington DC, Chicago and London.
Tirinnanzi consults regularly to financial markets companies, including several start-up companies and crypto entreprenuers. In 2015 she joined the Board of Advisors of Sotados, which is an emerging market mobile-to-mobile payments company for Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, and Nigeria.
In early 2018, she will be completing her first book publication on Bitcoin and Blockchain.
Tirinnanzi earned her graduate degree in business at Johns Hopkins University.
